Richard is a Consultant in Respiratory Paediatrics at St George’s University Hospital. His main interests are in Long Term Ventilation in Young People, Congenital Lung Lesions and Asthma. He trained at Southampton University and undertook paediatric respiratory training in Brighton, Kings and the Brompton in London and a fellowship in neonatology in Melbourne. He is passionate about ensuring fair access to services and joined up teamworking to facilitate better outcomes.

Dr Elaine Chan
Tertiary centres clinical lead for North Thames
Elaine is a Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at Great Ormond Streen Hospital. her special interests: general respiratory paediatrics, paediatric sleep medicine and long term ventilation (in particular non-invasive ventilation).

Dr Seeama Sukhani
DGHs`Co-clinical lead for North Thames
Dr Seeam Sukhani works as a Consultant Paediatrician at Luton and Dunstable Hospital where she is the paediatric HDU lead. Her other interests include Respiratory medicine and Medical Education. She is currently Trust co-lead for Simulation. Until recently, she worked as an Honorary Consultant at GOSH delivering Complex Asthma clinics. She Joined as one of the co-leads for the respiratory and LTV for the NTPN last year.

Dr Reshmy Nair
DGHs`Co-clinical lead for North Thames
I am a consultant Paediatrician with special interest in paediatric haematology and Oncology at North Middlesex University Hospital. My other interest being paediatric high decency care. Previously was a consultant paediatrician in Luton and Dunstable university hospital, where I was also joined for paediatric HUD. I joined as one of the co-leads for the respiratory and LTV team for the NTPN last year. My interest in LTV stems from my background of training in PICU and supporting HDU care in previous job role.

Miriam Rosen-Cabib
Programme Manager ( maternity leave)
Miriam joined the programme in January 2024. Prior to this, she worked in South East London ICB where she played a key role in the development and delivery of the Children and Young People Transformation Programme aimed at reducing variation and optimising access to care across a number of areas and population groups. Miriam has previously worked as a senior Transformation Project Manager in the South Thames Paediatric Operational Delivery Network leading on the delivery of the Long Term Ventilation and Surgical programmes. She also brings operational management and international strategic consulting experience through her work at the Royal Marsden Hospital and at a leading paediatric hospital in Italy.

Laura Koehli
Senior Project Manager – South Thames
Laura joins the network from her project management role the South East London Integrated Care System working on transformation of children and young people’s community health services working collaboratively with providers, clinicians and commissioners. Before that, she was in various project management roles in the Civil Service within Public Health England (now the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities) in their life course team and also has experience working at national breast cancer and heart disease charities specialising in policy, advocacy, public affairs, communications and patient involvement.

Emilie Maughan
Senior Project Manager -North Thames
Having qualified from the University of Nottingham with a Masters in Nursing Science Emilie found her passion for supporting CYP requiring LTV while working on the Respiratory ward in a Tertiary London Hospital in 2009. Since then, Emilie has cared for CYP that require LTV in hospital settings including Paediatric Critical Care and in their home setting as well as being an LTV CNS in 3 of the London LTV Teams.
A drive to improve services for CYP requiring LTV and their families led to her setting up and chairing regional clinical groups to lead on service improvement and networking including the PPLOG and PPLLTV Group. Prior to this role as the Senior Project Manager at the Pan Thames LTV Programme, Emilie continued to focus her work on service improvement at a more regional level as the Paediatric LTV Lead Nurse at the Thames Valley & Wessex Paediatric Critical Care ODN.
Emilie is thrilled to be part of the Pan Thames LTV Programme to be able to continue LTV transformation work, collaborating with services across London and beyond.

Emma is a paediatric nurse who specialises in Long Term Ventilation (LTV). The early parts of Emma’s nursing career was working in General Medicine and HDU. This is where Emma gained a special interest in Long Term Ventilation (LTV), becoming Deputy Ward Sister for the newly opening LTV unit and then becoming the LTV Clinical Educator, completing her PG Certificate in Clinical Education.
