Our team offers an array of standard and bespoke educational packages to support health care professionals, carers and parents in learning and maintaining tracheostomy ventilation skills.

Clinical Support
We can deliver specialist clinical support
Our multi-professional team deliver specialist clinical support across London and the South East of England region. We have seen hundreds of LTV children across the south east of England region, using that experience, we can support services with decision making around suitability for long term ventilation. Our team are able to work with clinicians across the region to support selection of appropriate home ventilation devices and their set up as well as provide best practice guidance on the management of tracheostomy.

How We Help
We help provide a safe transition to home as soon as possible
Some children who have had severe breathing problems and who have been in intensive care remain dependent on technology, such as a breathing machine, to keep them alive. However, medical advances mean that these children could get well enough to go home.
We know that being at home is better for a child’s development. It is the aim of the children’s long-term ventilation (LTV) service to coordinate a child’s discharge from hospital and to provide a safe transition to home as soon as possible.
